Download the 2008 Lakewood BlueClaws schedule to your Outlook calendar
(These instructions are for Micorsoft Outlook 2000 but should work similarly with other versions of Outlook. Please check your version's documentation for any additional instructions.)
- Right click on the "Download Now" link at the bottom of the page and choose "Save Target As".
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Select the File / Import and Export...Menu option. If you are using Office XP instead of Office 2000, the file translator for Outlook is not installed in a "standard" installation. You will be prompted to insert your Office XP software disc before continuing.
- Select "Import from another program or file" and click Next.
- Select "Comma Separated Values ( Windows)" and click Next.
- Click Browse.. to find the CSV file on your computer that you just downloaded and select "Replace Duplicates with items imported"(if you are updating a previously imported schedule this will guarantee that new info overwrites old info). Then click Next.
- Select the destination folder, "Calendar" is generally the default, and click Next.
- The next window will have a title that says ' The following actions will be performed:' above an option to 'Import 2008_schedule.xls" into folder: Calendar.' Check that box and click Finish to complete the import into your Outlook calendar.
The Lakewood BlueClaws do not accept responsibility for the actual import of this schedule into your Outlook application, only that of the import file provided. You should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook before performing this import.
